Urban Rescue is a revival band from Los Angeles. Fronted by Jordan Frye, Urban Rescue is on mission to inspire the next generation of believers to see their churches, communities and cities awakened by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With an untamed passion for worship emerging from pain and trials, the band has a heart to see broken cities and lives restored.
Urban Rescue’s 2016 full-length album, WILD HEART debuted at #1 on both the US & UK Christian Music charts. After finishing the US & UK “As Family We Go Tour” with Rend Collective in 2016 they joined the OutCry tour for Fall 2016. In early Spring 2017 they jumped on The Rock & Worship Roadshow. Urban Rescue has opened for Hillsong United, Phil Wickham, Jordan Feliz, David Crowder, and more.
Ben Stuart is currently launching and pastoring a Passion City Church location in Washington, D.C. after serving on the team at Passion City Church in Atlanta. Ben previously served for 11 years as executive director of Breakaway Ministries, a non-denominational, weekly Bible study on the campus of Texas A&M University which impacts thousands of students, and now serves on the Board of Directors for this ministry. He earned his Master’s in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and is the author of Single, Dating, Engaged, Married. Ben lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife Donna and their three children.
Jackie Hill Perry is a writer and artist whose work has been featured on the Washington Times, The 700 Club, DesiringGod.org, The Gospel Coalition, and other publications. Since being saved from a lifestyle of homosexuality, she has been compelled to share the light of gospel truth through poems that have reached more than 1 million views on YouTube. She is signed to Humble Beast Records and released her debut album, The Art of Joy, in 2014. She and her husband, Preston, have one daughter.
David Bowden is a word poet, author and preacher from Oklahoma City. He is the author of When God Isn’t There: Why God Is Farther than You Think, but Closer than You Dare Imagine. David is the co-founder of Kleer Series, a video curriculum for post-church young people in the UK. He has produced three poetry albums, three DVDs and one book of poetry. He is the founder and president of The Poetic Inc., a non-profit dedicated to creating gospel-centered content. David is married to his wife, Meagan, and serves as the Artist in Residence at Bridgeway Church.
Matt Reagan is a Lead Team Pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. Passionate to know and follow Jesus, Matt is heavily engaged in equipping and encouraging others to join Jesus’ relational movement of multiplication (#lovewhereyouare). Matt and his wife Sarah have five children and long for them to love Jesus and love people (#raisinglions).
Chris Brown is one of the Senior Pastors at North Coast Church in Vista, California and one of the two Teaching Pastors. Along with being on the vision casting team, and providing directional leadership for the church, he also co-teaches a preaching course at Bethel Seminary. Chris loves bringing the Bible to life with his gifts as a communicator and storyteller, but most evident in his teaching is his passion for sharing a real and authentic journey with Jesus. Chris and his wife Amy have three children, two beautiful daughters, Sayla and Karis, and a crazy son named Barak. They plan as a family to stay involved in teaching, ministries, and fishing for as long as humanly possible.
Seventh Hour is a worship band out of Minneapolis, Minnesota; their goal is to be a catalyst that draws people to worship our Creator and Lord. At the heart of Seventh Hour is a passion to integrate their faith and engage others in dynamic and authentic worship. They currently lead worship weekly at a growing church plant in the Twin Cities metro and regularly at conferences and retreats throughout the nation.
Chris Hilken graduated from Concordia University Irvine with degrees and programs in Theological Studies, Psychology, and Biblical Languages. His passion is connecting students with a God who desires the best life imaginable through a new identity in Christ. His commitment to sound Bible teaching mixed with his fun and energetic teaching style makes his messages something that people from all ages, stages, and walks of life have tuned in to hear. He is married to his wife, Paige, and has three kids, Peyton, Harper, and a third baby on the way!
Tim Barnett is a dynamic speaker who provides a perfect blend of expertise and humor in each talk. Using easy-to-follow and visually engaging presentations, Tim trains Christians to think clearly about what they believe and why they believe it. Tim’s passion and energy will help motivate you and your group to love God with all your mind.
Tim has worked as a professional teacher since 2008, employed in both the private and public sector. He serves as an adjunct Bible and Science teacher and serves on the pastoral staff at Cedarview Community Church. Tim is married, and has three beautiful girls.
Channeling Eric Liddell, John likes to say, “When I code, I can feel God’s pleasure.” This desire to glorify God by showing how our creativity is an important aspect of our role as image bearers, drives John’s work and teaching. A former youth pastor, he enjoys working with students to see how the biblical story brings insight and clarity to the ideas found in science, sociology, and culture. John is married to Amber, a literature and philosophy professor and has two lovely children.
Reid has served on staff at Christ Community Church in Leawood, KS since 2008. He is married to his best friend, Megan, and they have the joy of being the parents of Lula, Jane, Pearl, and Edmund. Reid studied rhetoric at Kansas State University, and has recently completed his Master of Divinity degree at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Shane is the National Director for EFCA ReachStudents. He has been serving youth and youth workers for more than 20 years and has led dozens of mission experiences both within the United States and abroad. Shane has a passion to help young people discover their unique Ephesians 2:10 role in God’s eternal story. He enjoys reading, camping, and water skiing.
